The Golf Benefit

  • Principal cardholders of the Emirates HLB World Elite, World and Platinum Card issued by Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia (“Eligible Card / Eligible Cardholders”) can enjoy complimentary green fees at participating golf clubs (“participating Golf Clubs”) on weekdays and weekends (the “Golf Benefit” or the “Program”), subject to the terms and conditions below.
  • In order to be eligible to participate in the Program and make a booking, Cardholders must have made a minimum expenditure of MYR 2,000 (Two Thousand Malaysian Ringgits only) in the preceding month. It shall be the obligation of the Bank to provide details of eligible Cardholders on a monthly basis.
  • Emirates HLB World Elite will be eligible to enjoy 2 (two) rounds per month at any of the 50 Clubs in Malaysia and outside Malaysia and MYR 30 (Thirty Malaysian Ringgits only) discounted buggy fees (limited to the 21 Clubs in Malaysia only).
  • Emirates HLB World Cardholders will be eligible to enjoy 2 (two) round per month at any of the 21 Clubs in Malaysia only and MYR 30 (Thirty Malaysian Ringgits only) discounted buggy fees (limited to Clubs in Malaysia only).
  • Emirates HLB Platinum Cardholders will be eligible to enjoy 1 (one) round per month at any of the 21 Clubs in Malaysia only and MYR 30 (Thirty Malaysian Ringgits only) discounted buggy fees (limited to the 21 Clubs in Malaysia only).
  • The Golf Benefit is made available by Hong Leong Bank to Eligible Cardholders and is not a direct offer by the participating Golf Clubs.
  • Eligible Cardholders shall make bookings to play at a participating Golf Club (“Golf Bookings”) through “Platform”).

Golf Bookings

  • Eligible Cardmembers will not be granted access to the participating Golf Clubs or enjoy the Golf Benefit without first booking through the Platform.
  • Eligible Cardmembers shall fill in the following details in the booking form:
    • - Name of Cardmember
    • - Email address
    • - Mobile number
    • - First 6-digit of Credit Card number
    • - Credit Card expiry date
    • - Selected Golf Club
    • - Alternative Golf Club in case their first choice if not available
    • - Preferred tee time and alternative tee time
    • - Date of Golf game and alternative date
    • - Cardmember’s and guests handicap
    • - Name of guests
    • Eligible Cardholders will receive a response to Golf Bookings received before 3:00pm Malaysia / Singapore time on the Platform within 24 (twenty four) hours; and
    • Eligible Cardholders will receive a response to Golf Bookings received after 3:00pm Malaysia / Singapore time on the Platform within two (2) working days (weekends and public holidays not included);
    • Acceptance of all Golf Bookings, pairings and changes to tee times will be at the discretion of the participating Golf Clubs and are subject to availability.

  • Bookings may not be made more than one (1) month in advance from the date of play.
  • Weekday (Monday to Friday) bookings must be made at least four (4) working days in advance.
  • Weekend (Saturday to Sunday) and public holiday bookings must be made at least six (6) working days in advance.
  • Changes for date of play/and/or change of golfer's names on confirmed bookings can only be made based on availability and club rules.
  • Cancellation fees will be charged directly to the Eligible Card.
  • By making a Golf Booking, Eligible Cardholders agree that all payments for Guest Green Fees and Golfing Fees for the Eligible Cardholder and his/her guest(s) must be made upon booking and charged to the Eligible Card.
  • Bookings are subject to availability. Rates are subject to change without notice.
  • All charges will be made in local currency MYR.


  • Eligible Cardholders who met minimum spend requirement of MYR 2,000 in the preceding month will enjoy complimentary green fees and a discount on their buggy fees of MYR 30 in Malaysia clubs only.
  • Eligible Cardholders shall pay for buggy fees (discounted in Malaysia clubs only), caddie fees, taxes, turfmate fees, locker fees and insurance at normal published rates and any other fees, where applicable, at the participating Golf Club (“Golfing Fees”).
  • Eligible Cardholders’ Guests shall pay for walk-in green fees, buggy fees, caddie fees, taxes, turfmate fees, locker fees and insurance at normal published rates and any other fees, where applicable, at the participating Golf Club (“Guest Golfing Fees”).
  • Eligible Cardholders shall pay the Guest Golfing Fees and Golfing Fees of their guests with their Eligible Card.

Dress Code:

  • A dress code applies which prescribes neat golf attire to be worn at all times. Soft spikes are required at all golf courses and all guests are to adhere to normal golfing etiquette, including but not limited to speed of play and cart usage.


  • The Program is valid on weekdays and weekends.
  • There is a minimum of two (2) golfers per flight on weekdays and three (3) golfers per flight on weekends (subject to pairing and a participating Golf Club's minimum golfer requirement flight for booking).
  • There must be one (1) Eligible Cardmember and a minimum of one (1) guest in a flight.
  • Golf bookings are subject to availability.
  • Eligible Cardmembers and guest/s must have valid handicap and golf insurance policy. The participating Golf Club may require golfers to produce their Handicap card upon registration.
  • A participating Golf Club member cannot make a booking directly at the Club and transfer the confirmed tee-time to an Eligible Cardmember.
  • Green Golf will not process any bookings on behalf of a participating Golf Club member who is not an Eligible Cardmember. A participating Golf Club member will have to contact the participating Golf Club personally to be paired up with an Eligible Cardmember.
  • Green Golf reserves the right to replace any of the participating Golf Clubs that do not wish to be part of the Program with one of equal or better standing with the prior written approval of American Express. Any replacement Golf Club will be of equal or better quality and standing than the replaced participating Golf Club. Any such replacement of Golf Club approved by American Express shall be deemed a participating Golf Club.
  • In the event of any change in the list of participating Golf Clubs under the Program for any reason, Green Golf shall procure for a replacement Golf Club of same ranking or higher.
  • This Program is applicable to Eligible Cardmembers, whose Eligible Card Account is in good standing and regularised (not in default or not cancelled for whatever reason). This program is not transferable.
  • The Program offered to Eligible Cardmembers is not to be regarded as a regular golf club membership.
  • The Program provides for a valid golf course access only. Eligible Cardmembers and/or their guest(s) will not have access to the other facilities at the participating Golf Club.
  • The Program benefits may not be utilised in conjunction with any events, social games or tournaments or other promotions.
  • In addition to these terms and conditions, the respective participating Golf Club’s terms and conditions will also apply.
  • By participating in the Program and using the benefits/privileges offered under the Program, Eligible Cardmembers are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions and to any change, modification, addition, deletion and variation thereto.
  • These terms and conditions shall prevail over any provisions, representations or warranties contained in any other promotional or marketing materials advertising or promoting the Program or the benefits/privileges offered under the Program.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Any changes and cancellation for weekday bookings must be made at least three (3) working days, prior to the tee-off date.
  • Any changes and cancellation for weekend or public holiday bookings must be made at least four (4) working days, prior to the tee-off date.
  • Cancellation and administration fees shall be applied for any cancellation or amendment to bookings and will be charged directly to the Eligible Card.
  • There will be no rain check (i.e. no refund or rescheduling of tee-times in the event of a golf game cancellation due to bad weather). In the event that it is raining, the Golf Captain has to announce that the game cannot be played before cancellation of golf game may be processed. Cancellations made by an Eligible Cardmember without the Golf Captain’s announcement will not be processed.

Cancellation Policy - Weekdays:

  • The (a) and (b) options is Mandiri's Terms and Conditions. Please change it to Amex's Terms & Conditions:
    • a) 50% of the total chargeable amount* will be charged for cancellations made two (2) working days before tee-off date;
    • b) 100% of the total chargeable amount* will be charged for cancellations made one (1) working day before tee-off date, no-show or late arrivals**

Cancellation Policy - Weekends/Public Holidays:

  • Any changes or cancellations for weekend golf bookings must be made at least four (4) working days, prior to the tee-off date.
  • The following cancellation charges will apply to Eligible Cardmembers and their guest(s):-
    • a) 50% of the total chargeable amount* will be charged for cancellations made three (3) working days before tee-off date;
    • b) 75% of the total chargeable amount* will be charged for cancellations made two (2) working days before tee-off date;
    • c) 100% of the total chargeable amount* will be charged for cancellations made one (1) working day before tee-off date, no-show or late arrivals**
    •     * Total chargeable amount includes walk-in or public green fee, buggy fee, caddy fee, turfmate fee, insurance and locker fee at normal published rates at the participating Golf Clubs where applicable. The Golf Benefit for Eligible Cardmembers does not apply to cancellation. Cancellation charges may vary from one participating Golf Club to another.
    •     ** Late arrival is when the golfer arrives late of the participating Golf Club and the tee-time has passed. It is the participating Golf Club's discretion to allow the golfer to play at a later tee-time subject to availability. However, if the participating Golf Club does not allow or there is no availability, the golfer is subject to full cancellation charges (the walk-in green fee rate shall apply without application of the Golf Benefit).

Green Golf collects information to process your golf bookings, be able to contact you so that we can service you better. Where necessary, we may share just your name, the first 6 digits of your Card number and golf booking details with Hong Leong Bank, for servicing purposes. This helps us to improve our services and the way we communicate with you.

Listing Policy

You agree to adhere to the following rules/guidelines while posting or uploading any information onto the App:

  • The information/content uploaded by you shall not be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing.
  • Further you shall not infringe any intellectual property, trade secret, or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy of any third party.
  • The information uploaded by you not contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, or other computer programming routines that may damage or detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information.
  • You shall not be allowed to libel anyone or include hate, derogatory, slanderous speech directed at individuals or groups. You should not advocate violence against other users or individuals or groups.
  • You shall not publish or upload any information that is obscene in any form, including, but not limited to audio/visual form.
